This piece was inspired from within. It came to me as an idea and I had to paint it. It is a first in a series of paintings done with a little abstraction and texture. To me, It is very quite and peaceful.

This tree was framed by a magnificent blue sky on a beautiful but very windy day. We took a walk at Tupancy Links in Nantucket (mainly to be inland a little bit). I did a little study and took a lot of photos. I will be posting more paintings from this day.

This small painting is painted on aluminum and is the view of the salt marshes from the Light House Museum in Nantucket.

I bought this cup in a pottery studio in a small town called Sagada in the mountains of Luzon island, Philippines. I liked the color blue with the red cherries.
